  1. Bellwork- Thursday Read the following rules of capitalization. Then, use the rules to capitalize or change the appropriate words in each of the sentences.

  2. Rule #1: Capitalize the first word of a sentence. Rule #2: Capitalize proper nouns. This includes names of relatives (to indicate family relationship) when used. example: I received a gift from Uncle George, but not from my other uncle. Rule #3: Capitalize proper nouns. This includes names of relatives when used as a proper name. example: Maria spoke to Mother about visiting her friend in New York City.example: Maria’s mother agreed to let Maria visit a friend in New York City.
