A little bit about me • Scottish Long jump record holder 6.47m • Senior, U20, U17 • Represented Great Britain World Youth Championships • Represented Scotland at International level • Ranked 5th in Pentathlon in all-time list • Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010 Achieve Programme • Studying at Napier University • Sports and Exercise Science with Sports Injuries • Champions in schools

Targets and aspirations… • Extend Scottish long jump record • UK U23 Championships • Represent Great Britain at European U23 Championships • Pre-selection for Glasgow 2014 (September) • Selection for European Outdoor Championships, Zurich 2014 • Medal success in Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 • Represent Team GB in Rio 2016 Olympic Games

  5. What it takes… • Training six days per week • Two sessions per day • 18-20 hrs per week • Speed, S&C, Technique, plyometrics, mobility • Physio, massage • Warm weather training • Special diet for power/speed athletes • Social life? • Sleep!!
