Goals for this session Introduce Resource Development program Understand overall purpose and key features of CPALMS & iCPALMS Understand how to register for and customize a free iCPALMSaccount Understand how CPALMS supports the implementation of the Florida Standards Explore resources and tools to support standards-driven instruction

Resource Development: Program Goals • Connect and apply content from the Summer Institute to classroom practice. • Develop and publish an originallesson plan that is • standards-aligned, • connects content from the FCR-STEMLearn Summer Institute with classroom practice, and • incorporates feedback from content experts through the CPALMS Review Process.

  4. Resource Development: Program Details 20 hours of 80 hour summer institute embedded across the 2 weeks On-going feedback Participants will write learning goals that are aligned to the selected standard and that specify learner performance at the appropriate level of content complexity. Participants will develop original resources to support teaching and/or learning of the objectives which will include an introduction, guiding questions, formative assessment strategies, and follow-up/closure suggestions.
