  2. What to Expect Tonight • Purpose of being here • Help get you logged in • Show you the most efficient way to utilize the Parent Portal • Answer your questions

Purpose of this Session • All grades, progress reports, and report cards are now strictly online. • No more mailings • Because of this, we want to make sure… • you can properly access all necessary information • you are using the Parent Portal correctly • you know what to do if you come across any problems

  4. Signing up • Go to www.elmwoodparkschools.org • Click the Parent Portal link on the left • Username: child’s ID number • Password: child’s date of birth (YYYYMMDD) • Ex: March 4, 2001 = 20010304

  5. Parent Portal Efficiency • Linking your children • If you have more than one child in the district, you can link them under the same account. This means you won’t have to log in to different accounts each time you want to see any of your other child’s grades • Log in to Parent Portal using your youngest child’s information • Click “MyAccount” • Click “Link Students” • Enter all other children’s usernames and passwords (to set it up) • Contacts • Make sure your contact information is updated and accurate • This gives teachers the opportunity to contact you to update you on anything you might need to know
