Merit Rule: 530:10-7-27Performance-Based Adjustments • (a) Performance-based adjustments enable Appointing Authorities to award a salary increase or lump sum payment to employees who have achieved an overall rating of “meets standards” or better on their most recent performance evaluation. • . • . • . • (1) Performance-based adjustments shall not exceed 5% of an employee’s annual salary for “meets standards”…

Performance-BasedPay Adjustment: • Most OJA staff will receive a 5% increase • “Most” Includes: • Staff with a closed PMP in 2011 that meets or exceeds standards • Excludes: • Staff who did not meet standards on their 2011 performance appraisal • Temporary employees • Probationary employees • Classified employees at or near the maximum of their respective pay band
