  2. Location and Venues • Opening and Closing Ceremony: Zilker Park is 351 acres able to hold over 150,000 spectators. Chosen for its large amount of land and popularity. • Swimming Events: Texas Swim Center located on the University of Texas’ campus • Skating Events: Cedar Park Center located in cedar park (North Austin). Chosen because it’s already an ice skating center large enough to hold Olympic games. • Track/Outdoor Events: Darrell K Royal-Texas memorial stadium, holds over 100,000. Chosen for popularity and large stadium. • Olympic Village: Build an Olympic village near Texas University. Will be used in the future as a place to house students of the University of Texas.

  4. VIP event for Sponsors • There will be a concert held the day before the opening ceremony inviting all sponsors with 3 extra tickets to bring friends or family, where there will be 5 famous singer/song writers performing at the Frank Erwin Center at 7:00 p.m.

  5. Mascot • Mascot is a cowboy from Texas with stars rather than circles because of the star on the texas flag, texas being the lone star state.

  6. Smartphone App • This app will allow people to follow all Olympic events. There will be 3 tabs to explore. One will be like a news feed, telling you what is happening at the moment where you can scroll through to also see what events have been going on throughout the day. A second tab will allow you to see the ranks of players in each event category. The third tab will be a feed of pictures and short video clips posted of the games.

  7. Social Media • Digitalized screens on back windshields or vehicles that displays changing information on the olympics. (Can see from outside of vehicle, but see through from inside view)
