  1. Research paper reminders! • MLA format- (See blog if you forget) • Proper heading • Last name and page number on each page including Works Cited page • 1 inch margins only!! • 12 font Times New Roman ONLY • Title: Centered not bold or underlined

  2. USE PEETE FORMULA!

  3. 3-6 pages • 3-6 in-text citations- Vary the way you incorporate them. • According to Smith, “nojoijlkjl” (3) • In recent studies, “jldjfdlkjlkfjdl” (Smith 3)

  4. NFSQ • NO FREE STANDING QUOTES! ( ideas on blog) • Don’t just enter a quote “ Don’t just enter a quote” ( Smith 6). -Vary your transition words!!!! (list on blog) - NO Contractions- shouldn’t= should not

  5. Works Cited • All works listed on your works cited page must appear in the text of your paper. • All in-text citations must appear on your works cited page. • It’s like an index as to where your information came from.

  6. Plagiarism • Any paper that does not have proper citations will be penalized and a zero will be your grade. • Be sure anything that did not come from your own analysis (thought) is cited.
