Vilas Wuwongse • Received B.Eng., M.Eng. and D.Eng. from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1977, 1979 and 1982, respectively. • Joined the then Division of Computer Applications in 1982 and served as its Chairman during 1990-1992. • In 1998 chaired a personnel reform committee whose recommended measures helped turn AIT from deficit into surplus in the following and next few years. • Brought to AIT a 60-million Baht project financed by the Thai Revenue Department. • Will join a 3-year Asia-Link project supported by the EU.

Conclusion • I am definitely confident in the future of AIT • Although many challenges lie ahead, with your support I know I can tackle them. I know what I am going to do. • Last but not least, I have enough humors for good interaction with partners.
