  1. I am a Tornado By: NaylahTaing

  2. How I look • I am big, large, I’m always spinning. I also look like a cone, and I’m dark and gray. I am also scary when I start spinning like crazy.

  3. What Causes Me • For me to happen warm air travels upwards in a thunder head creating an area of very low pressure. That low air pressure I have takes air inward and upward. As the air flows into the low pressure closure , it rotates around and around in a circle faster and faster. From the ground the shape of the cloud will look like a cooking funnel. Warm air rises up the center of me. When the tip of my funnel cloud touches the ground it becomes me. (the next slide will show a picture of two different things that look kind of alike.)(At the bottom of the page is also how things start )

  4. My Effects on earth • My Effects on earth are deadly. I crash down trees , houses, etc. Also only a small section of me can touch the ground so sometimes I only destroy one side of houses while not touching the other houses.

  5. Where I occur • I occur all over the united states , but I mostly occur in Tornado Ally. Which includes Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, and Colorado.

  6. Fun Facts • Peolple are very scared of me. People like to call me twisters. When papers and lighter objects have been found up to 201.17 kilometers (125 miles) away.

  7. But remember to evacuate when you see a Tornado Hope you enjoyed my power point By : NaylahTaing
