  2. December NTF Words • We will look at each word, discuss its root, prefix and suffix, and note any spelling changes. • We will chant the letters in each word. • We will write each word once. • We will post the words on the NTF Word Wall to reference.

  5. December NTF Words forgotten • Means “failed to remember” (use had before it; example: She had completely forgotten about the deadline.) • its root is forgot • its suffix is –en (means “cause to be or have”) • spelling change – t in forgot is doubled
