Compare and Contrast With Living Animals and Insects Hilo, Hawaii Newtown, Pennsylvania In Pennsylvania the animals and insects we told you about were small jumping bugs a earwig and a yellow and black spider. • In Hawaii the animals and insects you told us about were a lizards tail, black ants, fire ants and pincher bugs and so much more.

Cicadas were also on a tree. • In Hawaii you found twigs, leaves, and three seeds from different trees. In addition, there were weeds, grass, moss, and a flower pedal.
