  2. What we are going to learn about • To continue to use the terms: biodiversity, habitat and habitat destruction • To understand the term reintroduction • Have a debate about what species we could reintroduce and why

  3. Scenario 1: Don’t do anything • If we keep emitting gases and pollution what do you think will happen? • Will biodiversity change or not? • Climate Change will increase • We will be left with earth that is not productive and hasn’t got any wildlife or biodiversity in it at all!

  4. Scenario 2:Conservation • Stop polluting & destroying habitat • Will biodiversity change or not? • The deer and the wildcats and the forests and habitats we’ve got will be saved.

  5. Scenario 2:Conservation • How can we help conserve what we’ve got in Scotland? • Will helping on a small scale make a difference to the world?

  6. Scenario 3:Reintroduction/rewilding Will biodiversity change or not? This was a very positive view point, we need to remember that there will be negative effects as well…

  7. Species that might be reintroduced I’ll give each group a species You have to discuss and work out which bullet points go in which column… Good or bad effects Decide your top points for the debate!
