    • Provide key information about the project (ex needs, resources, realistic objectives, practical considerations )

    • Surface hidden agendas that might not be obvious in the planning

    • Identify points of opposition to a project

    • Brings out the importance of the potentially vulnerable groups or those who otherwise might be overlooked in project planning.
