  1. Boggle instructions • Boggle is played with 16 random letters, you will play with randomly generated letters. • Players have three minutes (shown by the countdown timer) to find as many words as they can in the grid, according to the following rules: • The letters must be adjoining in a 'chain'. (Letter cubes in the chain may be adjacent horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.) • Words must contain at least three letters. • No letter cube may be used more than once within a single word. • When the time is up, your score will be calculated. • The word must appear in the English dictionary, this doesn’t include slang or abbreviations. Record answers on white boards

  2. Scoring Fewer than 3 Letters: no score 3 Letters: 1 point 4 Letters: 1 point 5 Letters: 2 points 6 Letters: 3 points 7 Letters: 4 points 8 or More Letters: 11 points Penalise 1 point per word that is made up or not in the dictionary. NB: Qu count as two letters even though it appears in one box – both Q and u need to appear as a pair in the word for that tile to be used. Keep a leader board for your VMG
