  2. Budišov Castle

  3. The HistoryThe history of the castle begins in the 13th century. A water fortress with a residential tower was built there. The fortress was adapted into a Renaissance castle in the 16th century.

  4. The present appearance of the castle is a result of a complete reconstruction in 1720s.

  5. The entrance portal. TheBaroque bridge is decorated with big stone vases.

  6. The agricultural buildings were built in the yard.

  7. The Moravian Museum took charge of the castle in 1974. A depository of natural history department was installed there. The depository is open to the public.
