  5. $300 Judy was baking a cake. She put the batter in the oven at 3:15 and set the timer for 35 minutes. What time did the timer ring? 3:50

  6. $400 Dara needs to take her cats to the Vet. One cat is 4 kgs. The other is 3 kgs. Her cat carrier can hold 8 kg. Can she put both of her cats in the carrier? Yes! Because 4 kg+3 kg=7kg and 7 is less than 8.

  7. $500 A group of 16 hikers is going to climb Mount. Whitney. Each pair of hikers is given 1 liters of water. How many liters of water does the group have in all? 8 Liters 16 hikers divided by 2 (pairs) = 8
