Pre-conditions for application • Future Faculty (academic career plans) • Students with excellent grades (average in BA/B.Sc: at least 80% / 3/4 and very good) • TOEFL paper-based 550/ computer-based 213/ internet-based 79/ or IELTS Test Band 6 or above to be included with application in August

  14. DAAD Information Center East-Jerusalem Application process • apply for DAAD scholarship • apply for (at least) three International Degree Programs in English: IDP’s • keep us informed about your progress with applications and your acceptance 17

  15. DAAD Information Center East-Jerusalem Application process • Submit complete hard copy of application to the DAAD IC Jerusalem (including certified certificates and TOEFL/IELTS) 18

  16. DAAD Information Center East-Jerusalem 2. letter of regret or invitation to interview by local bi-national DAAD committee (in Birzeit and Gaza) 3. after completion of all interviews - letter of regret or application papers of shortlisted candidates sent to DAAD Bonn for final decision 19

Dates: • Submit application: August 30, 2012 or before • Interviews for Master: Westbank: Birzeit University: November 2, 2012 Gaza: October 13 -15, 2012 • Interviews for IT Master: Westbank: Birzeit University: October 19, 2012 Gaza: October 13 -15, 2012 • Final decision by DAAD committee in Bonn: end of February 2013

  20. Dates: • Leaving for Germany: June 1, 2013 • Language course (4 months) • Master-program starts October 1, 2013 (2 years)

  21. DAAD Information Center East-Jerusalem • Scholarship covers all costs: - Fees (up to 500 Euro/semester) - living-expenses (including travel-expenses) - additional allowance for spouses and children (only allowed to join the scholarship holder after the four month German language-course!) 24
