  2. EXPLANATION: • A is an incomplete sentence. • often occur for two different reasons: • Dependent clauses that have been separated from the rest of the sentence • Main clauses without verbs or subjects

Such as pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, and tacos. • Correct: • The Rot offers many different foods, such as pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, and tacos. • The clause listing all the foods is dependent on the original sentence and needs to be connected to it.

  4. EXAMPLE: • Incorrect: • Dirty clothes all over my dorm room. • Correct: • Dirty clothes were lying all over my dorm room. • The sentence is not complete without the verb to indicate what the subject is doing.
