  2. Learning Objectives As a result of this training; Participants will be able to navigate the required systems to run their AmeriCorps program. Participants will be ready to initiate and close out an AmeriCorps program. Participants will be knowledgeable of the critical tools necessary to run an AmeriCorps program.

  4. Where are you headed? Pre-Program– Done! Program Start – Recruitment, Interviewing, Background Screenings, Determining Placements, Training (Sites & Members), Setting Goals and Finalizing scheduled meetings & events and Enrolling Members in the E-Grants System

  5. Mid Year – Evaluations, Teambuilding Activities, Continuous Monitoring, Statewide Evaluation, Program Reporting, Program Director’s Meetings, Planning for AmeriCorps Week and End of Year Events Program End – Final Evaluations, Final Reports, Member Recognition, Exiting Members, Closeout of program year.

What throws you off course? • Failure to adhere to deadlines • Exit & Enrollment • Progress Reporting Deadlines • Lack of timely response to Commission requests • Lack of response • Not meeting Performance Measures • Low Retention/Recruitment Rates • Failure to adequately manage • members • Lack of proper record keeping, including • financials
