You May Need A Rubric: • If students frequently ask how you “got” their grade. • If complex assignments are often completed incorrectly. • If you grade the last project and aren’t sure your grading has been consistent. • If your desk is buried under piles of student projects waiting to be graded.
To Create a Rubric: • Determine the concepts to be taught. What are the essential learning objectives? • Choose the criteria to be evaluated. Name the evidence to be produced.
