The Weapon of Prayer • Eph 6:18-20 • That when we pray, we stay alert, watchful, and we persevere • We support our spiritual leaders in prayer • Prayer in Jer. 33:1-3. • God wants us to call to Him and listen for His response with a submissive spirit. • 1 Cor. 2:11-16 • We should pray with authority, like Jesus, Elijah or Jehosphaphat • James 5:16b-18 • The fervent prayer of a man who obeys his God accomplishes much

  3. Spiritual Failures • The failure of the individual believer is a failure of prayer. • The failure of the Christian family is a failure of prayer. • The failure of the Church is a failure of prayer.

  4. Prayerlessness • That state in which one prays less than he ought, • And less than God desires him to pray, • And less than that you yourself know that you should pray.

  5. James 4:17 • Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.
