This study investigates the effects of Anti-miR-10a and Anti-miR-196a on the expression of HOXD family genes (HOXD3, HOXD4, HOXD8) in breast cancer cell lines MCF7 and MDA-MB-231. We assessed the relative expression levels of these target genes following treatment with miRNA inhibitors. Quantitative analysis revealed significant changes in HOXD gene expression, highlighting the potential regulatory role of these miRNAs in breast cancer progression. Understanding these interactions could inform therapeutic strategies for targeting miRNA pathways in cancer.
