  1. A Brief Overview of the BCSRT Survey 2010 Presented by Elizabeth Goodfellow, BCSRT President Elect, Sept 2010

  2. 211 respondents • 68% BCSRT members • 59% have been working for 1-5 years

  3. 37% of respondents have certification as either a COPD or asthma educator

  4. A very diverse interest in areas of potential professional development

  5. 55% reported a good level of job satisfaction • 37% reported that their level of job satisfaction had stayed the same for the last 5 years • 60% reported that they would not be seeking alternative work environments within the next 2 years

  6. 95% support professional regulation for Respiratory Therapy • 36% got the answer right….more education about professional regulation is needed!
