  3.  Your task Cabinet War Rooms, IWM Watch the introduction to the War Rooms and begin to fill in the table below. Complete the table provided, using the source packs around the room.

  4. English Heritage can’t afford to keep the Cabinet War Rooms and Dover’s Secret Wartime Tunnels open. One must go, but which? You decide?

  5.  Extension task • Visit the Cabinet War Rooms website (or even go there!) and add further detail to your chart.

  6.  Homework • Type up your speeches on Admiral Ramsay. Try to improve your work in the light of the peer assessment feedback. Include well chosen images and think of a piece of music you’d like the band to play! You may also wish to compare his achievements with Churchill’s Statue of Ramsay, Dover
