  1. LATIN UNIVERSITY OF PANAMAFACULTY OF MEDICINE AND HEALTHMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY TISSUES TISSUE NAMES: MACKYORIE GONZALEZ EVA SANCHEZ YINA MOJICA By: Mackyorie González, Eva Sánchez and Yina Mojica.

  2. Content • Tissue • Muscle tissue • Nerve tissue • Epithelial tissue • Conjunctivetissue • Adipose tissue • The cartilaginous tissue • Bone tissue • Hematopoietic tissue • tissue blood

  3. TISSUE Are those materials consisting of an organized group of cells.

  4. Muscle tissue Is a tissue that is formed by the muscle fibers or myocytes. • Skeletal muscle • Smooth muscle • Heart muscle tissue

  5. Skeletal muscle Is a type of striated muscles attached to the skeleton.

  6. Smooth muscle Also known as curved or involuntary, is composed of spindle-shaped cells.

  7. Heart muscle tissue Muscle responsible for pumping blood through the circulatory system by contracting.

  8. Nerve tissue Comprising billions of neurons and untold amounts of interconnections. NeuronsGlial cells

  9. Neurons Are a type of nervous system cells whose main characteristic is the electrical excitability of the plasma membrane.

  10. Glial cells Are cells of the nervous system nurse played, so the main function of supporting the neurons.

  11. Epithelial tissue Is formed by one or several layers of cells joined together, which set covering all free surfaces of the body.

  12. Conjunctive tissue Is a heterogeneous organic tissues that share a common origin from embryonic mesenchyme mesoderm originated.

  13. Adipose tissue Tissue is fatty tissue or mesenchymal tissue formed by the association of cells accumulating lipid in their cytoplasm: adipocytes.

  14. The cartilaginous tissue Tissue type is a highly specialized connective tissue formed by condrógenascells.

  15. Bone tissue Is a specialized type of connective tissue, the main constituent of bones in vertebrates.

  16. Hematopoietic tissue Is responsible for the production of blood cells.

  17. Tissue blood Blood is a fluid flowing in tissue capillaries, veins and arteries of all vertebrates.
