Objectives for programme:

Students will gain knowledge and understanding of:

  • The economic and socio-political issues of Africa and South Africa
  • Using scenarios to understand and scope the future
  • Develop and innovate business models
  • The market and segmentation techniques in South Africa
  • Innovating value chains/operating models, and the role of ICT in the process, as well as the status of such innovation in Africa
  • The sustainability challenges for South Africa and Africa

The objectives of the EMBA International Week will be achieved by utilizing the following methods:

  • Lectures by expert faculty
  • Case studies in class
  • Company visits to appropriate companies that will enhance the learning addressed during lectures
