  4. Out of class Participation • Complete the Learning Styles Inventory on pages 270-271 • Bring to class for discussion • Ask about the benefits to knowing more than one learning style Learning styles

  5. In class activity • Hand out Making Academic Course Corrections worksheet (Activity 26-1, pg. 109 in facilitators manual) • Give about 25-30 minutes to complete, then have class discussion about activity • In class Case Study: A Fish Story • Page 268 in On Course Text Book Critical Thinking and making corrections

  6. In-Class Activity • Have students write down 3 major commitments and how they plan to keep those commitments • In or Out of Class Activity • Vision Board • Take pictures and words out of magazines to create a goal board for the future and how the student will get there Self-Respect and keeping commitments

  7. Personal Interaction-Out of Class Activity • Students interview and/or shadow a professional within their interested field of study. • Report back to the class what they found out. Big project
