  2. A thumbnail sketch is… • A series of quick sketches that help you to brainstorm ideas. • What are some things that people create that they might start with a series of thumbnail sketches?

  8. Why would you do more than one?

  9. On each thumbnail sketch: There must be an animal and a circle and these criteria: Create 5 blanks. 1. Which animal________________ • Art element lesson__________________ • Art element lesson__________________ • Color Scheme • Other animal, element lesson, or color scheme_________________

  15. Today’s Goal: • Create 4 different thumbnail sketches to give you ideas for your final mandala. • Look at your previous pages and packets of images to help you with ideas. • Sketches can be quick or detailed. • Start final artwork… tomorrow??
