Between 1924 and 1928, the Nazi party actually looses support and gains few seats in the Reichstag. • The main reasons why the Nazi party gained more supporters and seats in the Riechstag was not because of the changes made to the party by Hitler but a combination of the Wall Street crash and the death of Stesemann. • The Nazi party recieves only 810, 000 votes in 1928, this increases to over 6 million in 1930 following the Wall Street Crash and The Great Depression. • Evidence suggests that the Nazis were starting to lose support in 1932 (although they were still the largest party). • In 1933 Hitler became Chancellor of Germany,
