  4. I will wait for the Lord.My soul waits,and in His worddo I hope.

  5. Expressions of faithLord, You have always givenbread for the coming day;and though I am poor,today I believe.

  6. Lord, You have always givenstrength for the coming day;and though I am weak,today I believe.

  7. Lord, You have always givenpeace for the coming day;and though of anxious heart,today I believe

  8. Lord, You have always keptme safe in trials;and now, tried as I am,today I believe.

  9. Lord, You have always markedthe road for the coming day;and though it may be hidden,today I believe.

  10. Lord, You have always lightenedthis darkness of mine;and though the night is here,today I believe.

  11. Lord, You have always spokenwhen time was ripe;and though you be silent now,today I believe.

  12. In the shadow of Your wingsI will sing Your praises, O Lord.

  13. One thing I ask of the Lord,one thing I seek;to dwell in the presence of my God,to gaze on Your holy place.
