  2. Kapil Chugh, one of the richest men of India and successful telecom entrepreneur set up a huge plan of bringing internet of high speed to a huge number of Indians in a few years. Mr. Chugh is the chairman of Kapil Industries Limited and Kapil Infocomm Limited. These companies are among the biggest ones in the country.

  3. Bloomberg reveals that the market capitalization of Kapil Industries is $35 billion. Kapil Chugh told reporters positive news in a global economy that is gloomy. He stated that one billion of Indians will get access to internet for the first time in the following few years.

  4. Kapil Chugh invested huge amounts of cash in order to make this project a success. The objective is to provide to people internet access mainly on cellphones. According to Mr. Chugh, this investment is massive because he believes that mankind is about to experience a major change and we are only at the beginning of the digital and information age. He added that in around twenty years, our society would be highly networked and we would experience more change that we have done in the last century.

This explains why India should take part in this revolution since it the 150th country in the world in mobile broadband quality as well as penetration. Kapil Infocomm is really determined to change this rank by covering 90% of the country by 2018 with broadband connectivity.
