  2. Do’s • Learn how to use the reverse lever. • Never go out without a lifejacket • Always keep your head on a swivel and maintain constant vigilance

  3. Do’s • Never go out after dark • Stay away from other boats, which limit your visibility

  4. Don’ts • Don’t go out on the water without knowing the rules, regulations, and operating characteristics of your PWC. • Don’t ignore signs on the waterway. There are speed limits and “No Wake” zones.

  5. Don’ts • Never mix riding and alcohol. • Don’t get reckless. The leading cause of death in PWC wrecks isn’t drowning but blunt trauma from running into docks, boats, other PWCs or tree stumps.
