  1. Farming has been under pressure in recent years to produce meat as cheaply as possible for supermarkets and restaurants to sell. This has meant how the animals are cared for is sometimes not good enough. • Your task is to research into one of the concerns people have about modern farming and create an information leaflet to highlight what the issues is, why it is a problem and what can be done to solve it. • Ethical issues in farming include: • Factory farming – keeping of animals in high numbers to make meat cheaper • Battery Hens • Farrowing Crates for pigs • Use of Genetically Modified (GM) crops • You can also add any issues you feel are relevant.
