Gareth Moore (1998) In the past religious authorities…the purpose of sex was for bringing children into the world… sexual activity not about reproduction was wrong. He writes, ‘Masturbation, contraception, bestiality and anal and oral sex were all contrary to God’s will’.
‘But now things have changed… not just in Christian ethics, but in all religious ethics…in the west there is a wide sense of discontentment with traditional religious sexual ethics’. (Moore 1998) What do you think?
