  2. Business Overview • GoAir Imports is a logistics company in Houston, TX. It was founded in 1995. The company only deals in handling of the goods to the consignee which comes through air-ways mode of transportation. It not only deals domestically but also has international branches.

  3. Business Need • To upgrade the database system. • Labor intensive to provide detailed invoice. • The current system is unable to solve customers’ problems efficiently. • Unable to measure the degree of success or failure of business.

  4. Business Solutions • The information system generates reports for manager to see the business growth. • Maintain customers’ record. • Generate detailed invoice reports. • Assign correct shipment term to the specific order that has arrived. • Keep record of inventory.

  7. Hardware requirements • Computer that has a 1.6GHz or faster processor • Minimum 1 GB RAM • 3GB of available hard disk space • DirectX 9 capable video card running at 1024 x 768 or higher-resolution display. • DVD-ROM Drive • Laser Printer

  8. Login Screen Purpose : To collect username and password and verify that the user is authorize to use the system. The information is also used to determine whether the user is a manager or employee, which determines which menu buttons are enabled.

  9. Main Menu Purpose : To direct the employee , manager to use the system’s different functionalities.

  10. Customer Form Purpose : To add customer information into the database.

  11. Order Form Purpose : To collect information of the order and add into the database.

  12. Invoice Form – 1/3 Purpose : To collect information about the different shipment terms.

  13. Invoice Form – 2/3 Purpose : To collect information about the different shipment terms.

  14. Invoice Form – 3/3 Purpose : To collect information about the different shipment terms.

  15. Invoice Report Purpose : Generates a detailed invoice report.

  16. Managerial Report Purpose : Generates a detailed managerial report.
