  2. Box-and-Whisker Plots Box-and-whisker plots show the distribution of data. 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 A B C D E F A is an outlier. These are extreme numbers not part of data B is the least value if there is not an outlier C is the first or lower quartile . 25% of the data is below this value D is themedian or second quartile. 50% of the data is both above and below this value E is the third or upper quartile. 75% of the data is below this value F is the greatest value.   7. Finding the Upper QuartilePlease follow along and fill in handout2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 Find the median, place a triangle around it, click mouse one time to reveal. Remember, if there is an odd number of values the median is in the middle. If there is an even number of values, take the two in the middle, add, and divide by two. Click the right arrow for the next step
