  2. HABITAT • The Clouded leopards habitat is in the rain forest where it provides a perfect home for this animal.

  3. REPRODUCTION • The clouded leopard usually has litters of of two or five young that are born after a gestation of 86 to 93 days. Young suckle for five months, and males usually develop faster than females.

  4. CONSERVATION • The clouded leopards conservations are listed the most vulnerable on the World Conservations Unions Red List of Threatened animals. They are threatened by a high demand for their attractive pelts which are very ceremonial in Taiwan. Due to the reclusive nature of the clouded leopard it is very hard to tell how many of them remain in the wild, but they are highly endangered in some areas and only relatively stable in others.

  5. Reasons for Endangerment The reasons for the clouded leopards endangerment is deforestation, poaching and habitat destruction.

  6. MAP RANGE MAP RANGE The Clouded Leopard ranges from countries Of the Himalayas to southern China and Taiwan To peninsula,Malaysia.They also live on the islands Of Sumatra and Borneo.

  7. FUN FACTS • Almost the same to body size clouded leopards and long canines are the largest of all living cats. • The clouded leopards long sharp claws and large paws help it to keep its grip while climbing trees.Their grip is so firm that the leopards can even hang upside down from the tree branches. • Listen to the clouded leopard facts here!

  8. GROUP The clouded leopard is a mammal and also they are a carnivore because they only eat meat.Their group name is leap.

  9. DIET • The Clouded Leopards diet consists of birds, monkeys, pigs, cattle, goats, deer, and porcupines.

  10. SIZE OF BODY • The clouded leopards body is 2 or 3 feet long and the tail is up to 3 feet long. • That’s one long tail!!!!!!

  11. REMAINING POPULATION • Actually we could not find the remaining population because they said, they are so rarely seen they are not able to tell how many are left.
