Peterson • Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison • Founding director of the Vanderbilt Principals Institute and the Principals’ Leadership Institute at Wisconsin. • In addition to the books he has coauthored with Terrence Deal, he has published over 90 other studies and articles. • Expert on principals and school culture • Helps principals understand their leading role in the culture and reform of their schools • Dr. Peterson earned his B.A. at Amherst college, his M.A. at Temple University, and his PH.D. at the University of Chicago
