Sequence alignment of SKP proteins. The sequences of the human SKP1 protein (Hs-SKP1), Arabidopsis SKP1 (ASK1 and ASK2) and rice SKP1 (OSK), were aligned using CLUSTALX. Conserved amino acids are shown in red (for HS-SKP1, ASK1, ASK2, OSK1 and OSK20). The position of the Hs-SKP1 residues that contact Hs-SKP2 (F-box) are indicated at the top.
