  2. Did you know? • Did you know that there is a pancake day? • These breakfast treats can be called hot cakes, and flapjacks • Pancake day is a day of feasting on pancakes and in some areas there are pancake races

  3. Story time We all know about the delight that comes from a pancake. The best memory I have about these are when I was little my mom made me pancakes in fun shapes like Mickey mouse or cats and such, now I will pass on the knowledge of the pancake making art.

APPLE CINNAMON ingredients: 2 apples, 1 ½ cups of milk, 1 ½ cups of all purpose flour, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup of shorting , 2 ½ teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon Place apples in a blender. Add milk, flour, eggs, shortening, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon and blend until well mixed, scraping down sides of blender several times. Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium heat. Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle; cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, about 1 minute. Repeat with remaining batter

Home made butter milk from scratch Ingredients: I cup of all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ¼ teaspoon of salt, 1 beaten egg, 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and ½ teaspoon of baking soda In a mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt mix these together. In another mixing bowl use egg, milk, and your vegetable oil whisk this mixture together and add this to your bowl of dry ingredients let this sit for 5 minutes and cook in a heavy duty skillet that is lightly greased cook until it is golden brown and when the batter side is showing with bubbles and dry edges flip.

White chocolate chip ingredients used: ½ cup of all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 9 teaspoons of sugar, 1 ¾ teaspoons of baking powder, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of butter, 1 ¼ cups of milk, and 1/3 cup of white chocolate chips You will need to sift the flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl then in a separate bowl use the eggs, melted butter, and milk you will beat this until its frothy. Mix your dry and wet ingredients swiftly and it’s ok if your batter is a little lumpy. Now add the chocolate chips. Then use a ½ cup measurement and put batter in your pan cook them pancakes until golden brown and flip when edges look dry and the top gets bubbly.
