  2. Mostpeoplethinkthatcataractsurgeryisa verygenericsurgery, butinactualthelevelof criticality, post-surgerycare, andtherecovery timedependsonthetypeofcataractsurgery. It’struethatdespitethetypesthelensesof oureyegetaffectedwhenthecataractonsets butthenatureanddirectionofdamages definethreedifferenttypesofcataract. Yes, therearemainlythreetypesofcataracts.

  3. NUCLEAR SCLEROTIC CATARACT Thisisthemostcommontypeofcataract thatpeopleexperiencewithaging. The centralpointofoureyesisreferredtoasthe ‘nucleus.’ Withaging, thispartbecomes cloudyandgetshardenovertime.
