The cooling car fot the Food Bank in Tczew • Grant title:The cooling car fot the Food Bank in Tczew Amount Requested: $8000 Location:Tczew Project:The goal is to provide the org with the cooling car, that would allow transportation of the short-term food for the needed. This is quite an energetic organisation, that in cooperation with their federation, runs two big charity events in Tczew, and supports up to 50 000 people yearly. They have very strict verification system, and are very well perceived in the community. Their events alwas go with the huge media interest (see here: http://www.bankizywnosci.pl/ and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5TzGc7EIeU) How funding will be spent:The org now collects money to purchase the cooling car. They already gathered half of its value. They apply for the 30% of the value, as they still have the chance to get the rest from the other company. The car will be purchased in the tender. How many will benefit: The poor in Tczew and county. Branding/volunteer opportunities for Flextronics:great branding opprortunities, the organisation is very visible and with the positive perception. Our logo would be placed on the car, on the web page and in printed materials. Also big media response is expected. Number of Flextronics volunteers support the org: M. Janiszewski is one of the bank coordinatos, number of volunteers take part in the food collections in malls, most of people contribute by individual donations. NOTE: The org applies for the first time.
