    1. 1 Site visit to an Indian CC Road Paving 4 lane Nagaon Bypass project. Notes relevant to concrete issues observed by Scott Mallory 27/12/09 – 12/1/09, Nagaon, Assam, India The contents of the following report are derived from observations related to the concrete delivered to the S850 paver w/CDBI and the resulting issues. Upon my return home I was fortunate enough to meet with Mr. Paul Okamoto from CTL group and share the concrete issues and observations that had experienced during my site visit. I must say the crew was very hard working, pleasant and doing a great job. The work that was being done appears as some of the best I have seen in India during my limited travels there. I was treated very well and was made very comfortable amongst the crew. I do however want to emphasize that my experience tells me that the quality of the concrete is going to prohibit this highway from performing as well and a long as the final product looks to the eye. This is a shame given the expense, hard work and effort put into the project by all. Please review this document and feel free to comment. Scott Mallory Service Manager Guntert and Zimmerman Const. Div., Inc.
