  4. HIGHER’S INTENT Our first field exercise for the year. This exercise will assess current competencies in land navigation and squad STX and will give the MS III instructors an opportunity to tailor their fall training in preparation for FTX Trailblazer. This event is committee run and staged in a field environment (no barracks). We will capitalize on success of Operation Overlord to include patrol base activities, ruck marching, to committees and keeping cadets on the move. Success is defined as a safe exercise that provides initial assessments on land navigation and squad STX.

  5. MISSION CAMPBELL BATTALION CONDUCTS SQUAD STX, LAND NAVIGATION, PATROL BASE OPERATIONS, AND RECOVERY IN THE VIC OF TRAINING AREAS RR AND SS, AND METHODIST COLLEGE FROM 25 0445 SEP 04 TO 26 1630 SEP 04 IOT TRAIN CADETS AND GET AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF MSIII.

  6. COMMANDER’S INTENT FTX Audie Murphy will be committee run and staged in a field environment. Success is defined as an FTX that provides a matrix of initial assessments in Land Navigation, Squad STX, and patrolling familiarization while obtaining no casualties.
