  2. Language Arts at a Glance Students have completed their Dragon and Princess stories. I will be posting their images on the website under Language Arts 4. The class has been hard at work on their second stories for our Writers Workshop I encourage parents to ensure that their child is studying for the weekly spelling test

  3. Mathematics Fractions and Multiplication • Students this month have been hard at work in understanding Fractions and Multiplication • So far the results are promising, most students have a firm grasp of parts of a set and a whole • However, some students do need finish their math homework. I encourage parents to check agendas daily.

  4. November Art • Please find samples in the appendix • This month we finished fall trees, created poppies for Remembrance Day and we also created work for the school art contest • Halloween door decorations

  5. Science • Grade 4A has been hard at work in furthering their understanding of weather and its related phenomenon • Students have a good understanding of basic terms such as condensation, precipitation and temperature • In class we have been completing experiments about weather and insulation
