  4. Detailed Process Description • Tool Production • This scenario describes a business process, where tools are produced in a Make-to-stock environment. Serial number assignment, equipment master record and optional batch management are embedded in this scenario. • The scenario starts with the manual creation of a production order for tool production. • After requirements planning, procurement of components, and material staging the production order will be released. • The serial number assignment to production order will be checked. • After order confirmation the equipment data for the produced tools will be checked.
