  1. Mrs. Finkbeiner’s Classroom Connection What We’re Learning… Parent/Teacher Conferences Language Arts Parent/Teacher Conferences are almost upon us! Conferences were scheduled during Back to School Night. You received a reminder with the date and time you signed up for in the Wednesday folder. Please help me in staying within the time frame for our conference by arriving on time and adhering to the fifteen-minute schedule. Please be prepared with any questions you might have and I will have work samples, continuums and checklists to share with you. I look forward to meeting with you! We are exploring main idea, predictions, sequencing, action words, complete sentences and spelling patterns with long and short vowels. Math We are studying place value in 2 and 3 digit numbers, telling time, frames and arrows with 2 rules and making change by the counting up strategy.
