  2. Concept & Motivation • Portable communication device for use within industrial, collaborative work environment • Send audio (possibly picture) information to groups of people • For use in nuclear facilities where radios are not used due to sensitive equipment

  5. Competitive Analysis • Walkie - Talkies? • Tethered Com Devices? • Cellphone with a camera?

  6. Functional Requirements • Accept audio input and transmit to device via Bluetooth • Transmit data to multiple other devices • Output received audio via Bluetooth • At least 10 users (start small, scale up) • Allow for management via base station • Log/output all data at base station

  7. Non-Functional Requirements • Simple UI with accessible buttons • Low latency (< .5 secs) • Seamless roaming • Conversations must be coherent

  8. Tech Specs • Hardware • Bluetooth Headset • Board with WiFi and Bluetooth support • Wireless routers / repeaters • Base station PC for logging (maybe)
