Action points/recommendations

  • Fast track
  • First concrete proposal (charcoal)
  • Top-down:
    • setting thresholds for additionality and baseline (cookstoves, power, cement/aluminium/steel)
    • database of costs of technologies
    • developing guidelines for DNAs on how to set thresholds
    • adopt procedures for submission of standardised baselines
  • Stakeholder proposal for
    • fast track registration of standardised baselines
    • fast track registration of PoA for micro-scale projects
    • standardise MRV, mainly for non-energy projects
  • Extend the framework to non-energy (transport, agriculture)
  • Conservativeness of thresholds vs. data quality
  • Involve stakeholders
