  3. Your Email account • Your email account at Drew is the official method of communication with all administrative offices. • Billing, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, Dean’s Office notices to you all come to this address • Check this once per week at least • Forward to your personal email if you prefer: • http://depts.drew.edu/its/docs/internet/email/groupwise/FAQs.php

  4. Determine Proxy • If you wish someone else to see your Academic record, Billing or Financial Aid statements or degree progress. • Complete Proxy management available on the Treehouse tab. • Tutorial on how to set this up: • http://vimeo.com/79697616

  5. Academic calendar • Pay attention to upcoming deadlines by checking this regularly. THEO calendar: • http://www.drew.edu/theological/academics/calendar • CaspersenCalendar:http://www.drew.edu/graduate/academics/calendar

  6. Registration • Registration start dates are announced by email and posted on the Academic Calendar • Prior to registration HOLD emails go out telling you of HOLDS on your account which will prevent your registration • Meet with your Academic Adviser prior to registration to discuss courses to take and receive your PIN number if required. Save your PIN number to make changes later on. • Check your Ladder account for course needs. • If you are working on your dissertation you are required to be registered in order to maintain access to all university services. If you do not know which section in which to register, you should speak with your adviser.

  7. Grading • Grades are posted on Treehouse by the dates indicated in the Academic Calendar • If you see an “NR” grade that means your professor has not entered that grade online or provided the Registrar’s office with the grade sheet

  8. Graduation • You are required to apply for graduation according to the deadlines listed on the Academic Calendar. • The Commencement website is located on the Registrar’s office home page, and details all essential elements of Commencement and preparing for that day.
